Bovine Ecolizer®+C20 (ASAP after birth),
Quick Shield® (Day 1)
Four quarts colostrum.
Remove calf from dam.
Dip navel with tincture of iodine.
Place calf in sterile, freshly bedded pen.

Poly Serum®
(if needed, once every 12 – 24 hours)
Four quarts transition milk or milk replacer.
Monitor for scours.

Days 4-14
|
Test for PI BVD and cull as necessary. Feed milk replacer or pasteurized milk. Provide
fresh water at all times. Monitor for scours.

MLV Approach: Arsenal® 4.1,

Dehorn when buds are palpable.

For heifers that received Arsenal 4.1 at 2 – 4 weeks:
Vira Shield 6+L5 HB (2 doses)
Wean and move to small-group housing. Monitor for scours and respiratory disease.
Place on heifer ration for volumetric growth.

ReproSTAR L5 HB (booster)

Move to close-up pen. Check for mastitis, treat as necessary. Monitor dry matter intake.
